Tiled Map Editor for 2D Games

TMEditor is a free tool that enables easy creation of map layouts. Its versatility allows specifying abstract elements like collision areas, enemy spawn points, or power-up locations. All data is saved in a convenient, standardized .tmx format.

How Does TMEditor Work?

The core process for designing maps with TMEditor follows these steps:

1. Select your map dimensions and base tile size.

2. Import tilesets from image files.

3. Arrange the tilesets on the map.

4. Add any additional objects to represent abstract elements.

4. Save the map as a .tmx file.

5. Import the .tmx file and integrate it into your game.
