Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault Announces Elite Eight Finalists
The 2023 Roland-Garros eSeries has narrowed down from 515,000 global participants to just eight elite players who will compete in the Grand Final on May 24th at the historic Roland-Garros Tenniseum. Defending champion Alessandro Bianco leads this year's field alongside Hizir Balkanci, who dominated the Open Qualifier.
This year's finale introduces an electrifying team format where finalists will be divided into squads captained by tennis icons Gilles Simon (former ATP World #6 and last year's finalist) and Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli. The competition will unfold through intense bracket play, with eliminated competitors getting a second chance in the Loser Bracket.

The esports spectacle will feature authentic Roland-Garros ambiance with a replica Philippe-Chatrier court and official tournament outfits. Legendary French umpire Aurélie Tourte will officiate matches, while broadcasting duties fall to popular Twitch personality Samuel Etienne (1M+ followers), joined by esports analyst Quento and former Tennis Clash #1 player Benny (GP365).

Both in-person spectators and global viewers can experience the action live from the Tenniseum auditorium or via live streams on Samuel Etienne's Twitch channel and official Roland-Garros YouTube at 16:00 CEST. The broadcast will feature expert commentary, player interviews, and special segments bridging tennis and esports.
