Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Release Date Nears

HoYoverse has officially announced the release date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 and revealed key details about the upcoming content. Titled ‘Bury Your Tears with the Past,’ this final update of Season 1 launches on April 23rd.

What to Expect in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The central mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis will finally be unveiled. Proxies will explore Vivian’s intricate past, and Hugo’s fate shifts from whispered rumors to confirmed reality.

Following Hugo’s fall into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have intensified. The situation has escalated to the point where the Mayor has dispatched a special Void Hunter-rank investigator.

Together with Vivian, Proxies will venture directly into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian carries unresolved history with figures from her past, while the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel.

Meet the New Character Roster

Two S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird join the fight. As previously mentioned, Vivian is the first. She is an Ether Anomaly Agent who wields a parasol and rapier with acrobatic flair. Her abilities synergize with teammates' EX Special Attacks, delivering significant Corruption damage.

Hugo is the second new character, an Ice Attack Agent. He carries a briefcase that transforms into a devastating scythe. When attacking stunned enemies, he activates a Totalize effect, dealing increased damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, also arrives, deploying cards with unpredictable effects. Version 1.7 banners will also feature reruns of Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent.

Finally, Version 1.7 introduces several new events. "Say It With Flowers" lets you manage a floral boutique, fulfilling custom design requests for clients. Completing commissions unlocks a permanent flower arrangement mini-game in the Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
