Niantic's Pokémon Go Wayfarer Challenge is now live, offering trainers in Chile and India the opportunity to enhance their local gameplay while earning special incentives. By evaluating Wayspot submissions through Niantic Wayfarer, players can directly influence new PokéStop and Gym placements while progressing toward unique achievement-based prizes.

The limited-time event spans March 7-9 in Chile and March 10-12 in India. Participants can nominate noteworthy real-world locations – including public art, monuments, and distinctive landmarks – for potential inclusion as PokéStops or Gyms.

Each reviewed nomination counts toward community milestones. Reaching 5,000 approvals unlocks 20 Ultra Balls, a Star Piece, Incense, and Poffin for all qualifying participants. The 10,000 approval tier upgrades rewards to 25 Ultra Balls, two Star Pieces, two Incense, two Poffins, plus a Lucky Egg.

Eligibility requires Pokémon Go Trainer Level 37+ and an active Niantic Wayfarer account. New Wayfarers must complete the platform orientation before participating.

Players must demonstrate recent activity in Chile/India or designate either country as their Wayfarer Hometown/Bonus Location. To qualify for rewards, participants must review at least 50 nominations during the event period, with at least one community milestone achieved.

While participating, don't forget to redeem these active Pokémon Go promo codes for additional perks.

Simultaneously, the PokéStop Challenge runs March 9-12 in these regions, offering 3× XP for new Stop discoveries, 3× Stardust from Gifts, and increased Kecleon sightings. Complete event-exclusive Field Research for Eevee encounters and Timed Research for additional Pokémon rewards.
