Exciting news for Call of Duty Warzone fans: the much-anticipated return of the beloved Verdansk map is set to be unveiled on March 10, 2025. Activision had teased Verdansk's return back in August last year, hinting at a "spring 2025" window, but now, a specific date has been confirmed through a pop-up on the Call of Duty shop. The pop-up, which reads "The Verdansk Collection," includes a countdown timer set to conclude on March 10, 2025, as reported by InsiderGaming.

Fans will recall these landmarks from before Verdansk was updated to Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and eventually replaced by Caldera in 2021. Currently, the only way to experience Verdansk again is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.

This announcement overturns the previous statement from 2021 that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back," much to the delight of the Warzone community. The anticipation for Verdansk's return is palpable, and players are eager to see how it will reinvigorate the game.

It also features the return of the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, along with new weapons and operators. Additionally, there's a high-profile Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event, which is sure to attract attention.

Meanwhile, Warzone has seen less new content than initially planned. The development team is currently focused on addressing critical issues such as gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements to enhance the overall player experience.
