TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Hits Mobile, Drops Netflix

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge has officially arrived on mobile platforms. While the game initially launched as a Netflix exclusive in June 2023, Playdigious has now released this standalone version for Android devices - no Netflix subscription required.

This mobile edition contains the complete game experience, including all features and content from both the base game and its Dimension Shellshock and Radical Reptiles DLC packs.

For fans who grew up with the '80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Shredder's Revenge delivers a heavy dose of nostalgia. The game maintains its classic side-scrolling arcade format with beautifully crafted retro pixel art visuals.

However, this isn't just a simple nostalgia trip - the developers have modernized the combat system with fluid ninja combos and cooperative attack mechanics while preserving the original's charm.

Players can choose from all seven classic characters: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo join April O'Neil, Master Splinter and Casey Jones as playable fighters.

Game Setting and Story Details

The adventure begins when Bebop and Rocksteady raid Channel 6 to steal mysterious technology. Players will battle through 16 distinct stages featuring classic TMNT locations, facing off against familiar villains including Baxter Stockman and the Triceraton warriors.

Developed in collaboration between Nickelodeon, Tribute Games and Dotemu, the game is currently discounted to $7.99 (normally $8.99) as a launch promotion. Available now on the Google Play Store.
