Nintendo Switch 2 Enhances Hogwarts Legacy with Superior Graphics and Fluid Gameplay

The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Hogwarts Legacy delivers crisper visuals, quicker load times, and introduces innovative mouse controls for an elevated experience.

A new comparison teaser trailer highlights seamless transitions between areas, eliminating the loading screens that original Switch players encountered when moving in or out of Hogsmeade.

The upgrades don’t stop there. On the Nintendo Switch 2, players will enjoy improved frame rates, enhanced textures, refined shadows, and richer color saturation across Hogwarts and its environments, as showcased in the trailer below:

Curious about the mouse controls? So are we. Developer Warner Bros. has yet to reveal details, but speculation suggests they might enhance spell-casting interactions.

Similar to other Switch 1 titles, owners of Hogwarts Legacy on the original console can upgrade to this enhanced version for just $10.

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the 1800s wizarding world. Starting as a fifth-year student, players explore iconic and new locations, discover magical creatures, brew potions, master spells, develop talents, and shape their character to become the witch or wizard of their dreams. It launches on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside the console on June 5.
