Stronghold Castles, City-Building Sim, Launches on Android

Firefly Studios, renowned for its popular Stronghold series, brings a new mobile title to the market: Stronghold Castles. This latest installment retains the series' core gameplay loop of building, farming, and battling.

Fortify Your Fortress!

In Stronghold Castles, you assume the role of a medieval lord or lady, tasked with transforming a humble village into a powerful kingdom. Gameplay involves managing farms, mines, weapon production, and resource allocation. Keep your peasants happy (or not!), and levy taxes – or perhaps employ a little… persuasion. Construct your castle to your liking, from a trap-laden wooden fort to a majestic stone stronghold.

Once your defenses are secure, engage in thrilling PvP battles. Command your knights, archers, and soldiers to conquer rival lords and plunder their resources. Your ultimate objective: restore your Manor Hall to its former glory.

Classic Stronghold enemies, including the Rat, Pig, Snake, and Wolf, return. Battles are fast-paced and tactical, allowing you to besiege opponents' castles, loot their treasures, and further enhance your kingdom.

The Stronghold series is a well-established franchise of real-time strategy games set in the medieval era. The original Stronghold debuted in 2001, with subsequent popular titles including Crusader (2002), Crusader Extreme (2008), and Kingdoms (2012).

Stronghold Castles marks the series' first foray into mobile gaming. It's free-to-play and available now on the Google Play Store.
