Marvel Contest of Champions Launches New Year Update.

Marvel Contest of Champions is kicking off 2025 with a bang, introducing new Champions, fresh quests, a revamped Summoner’s Sigil market, and high-stakes Wakandan action. The year began with the annual Summoner's Choice Champion Vote, which is now live.

If you haven't cast your vote for your favorite Champion yet, visit MCOC's official X account and join the event. In other news, the developers have released a new Deathless trailer featuring Thanos, continuing the expanding Deathless Saga. Watch the trailer right here!

The Mausoleum is now available as a permanent quest. Having already defeated four Deathless adversaries, you must now prove your worth to Deathless Thanos to earn a place among their ranks.

Who Are the New Year Special Champions in Marvel Contest of Champions?

Two new Champions have arrived from Wakanda. Starting January 16th, you can recruit Okoye, the formidable General of the Dora Milaje, renowned for her unrivaled skill and wisdom in protecting Wakanda's throne.

Then on January 30th, Gentle enters the contest. This mutant, Nezhno Abidemi, channels immense power through his Vibranium tattoos, granting him incredible strength. With these additions joining over 280 existing Champions, your roster is more powerful than ever.

Gentle's story involves a stealth mission to investigate the sudden degradation of Vibranium. Okoye, meanwhile, confronts the Deathless directly, aiming to stop dark doppelgangers who have stolen sacred Wakandan artifacts for a mysterious ritual.

Participate in the Death Drive Event to earn Kimoyo Beads, which help you recover the stolen artifacts and unlock paths within the Vault of Strength, Vault of Violence, Vault of Conviction, and Vault of Rage. Each vault is filled with valuable rewards.
