Sonic Rumble: Pre-Launch Chaos Begins in the Philippines!
Remember that upcoming Sonic game, Sonic Rumble, where Sonic and friends swap high-speed chases for Fall Guys-style party mayhem? Following its May CBT, Sonic Rumble is now entering its pre-launch phase.
Pre-Launch Rollout:
SEGA has launched Phase 1 of Sonic Rumble's pre-launch exclusively in the Philippines on Android and iOS. This initial phase will run throughout the summer, after which all gameplay data will be reset.
Phase 2, slated for fall, will expand the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia. Phase 3 will include additional regions, to be announced later.
Global pre-registration is expected by the end of the year or early next year, suggesting a swift global release. The recent success of Fall Guys likely spurred SEGA to accelerate Sonic Rumble's launch.
Gameplay:
Sonic Rumble delivers mini-games packed with chaotic obstacles and zany challenges, playable solo or with friends. However, it adds a unique twist: classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman will appear to disrupt your progress. Expect the usual obstacle dodging, but with a dose of Sonic-universe antagonism.
Philippine players can download Sonic Rumble now from the Google Play Store.
