Romancing Saga Re:universe Nears Its End

Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, this marks the end of a four-year run for the global release, which launched in June 2020.

Two Months Remain

In-app purchases and Google Play Point exchanges have already ceased. The game, despite its attractive visuals and generous gacha system, received a mixed reception globally. The lack of key content updates, such as Solistia and 6-star units (available in the Japanese version for almost a year), contributed to player dissatisfaction.

A Trend of Closures?

Square Enix has closed several mobile titles this year, including Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest mobile games, preceding the global shutdown of Romancing SaGa Re:universe.
