Fortnite's New Season Trailer Features Power Rangers

Fortnite's upcoming season will spotlight the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as revealed in a new live-action-inspired trailer.

Launching this week on August 7, the "Shock 'N Awesome" season introduces a bug infestation across the battle royale Island. The swarm originated from the remains of a tentacle left by a colossal kraken-like creature Superman defeated in last weekend's live event, though these specifics aren't essential knowledge.

The latest trailer dramatically depicts various Fortnite heroes being overrun by fearless insects before the Power Rangers arrive to rescue them. And when an enormous bug makes an entrance, the Dino Megazord shows up to truly save the day.

According to the trailer’s description, the Red, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Blue Rangers will appear in Fortnite's in-game shop by mid-August, while the powerful Dino Megazord will be part of the new battle pass.

The upcoming battle pass also appears to feature a new Spartan skin from Microsoft's Halo series, a character with gun-equipped robotic arms, and an eye-patch-wearing humanoid panda—classic Fortnite additions.
