Pokémon Go enthusiasts are in for a treat with the announcement of a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event. This premium option promises an array of in-game items and enhanced real-world amenities, including "upgraded restrooms," to elevate the experience at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The event, part of the game's annual summer celebration, will also take place in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan, offering fans around the globe a chance to participate.

For those attending the Jersey City leg of Go Fest, the $100 Premier Access add-on, introduced by developer Niantic, presents a Business Class-like upgrade. The highlight is the exclusive Premier Access lounge, equipped with "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating areas" designed to help players recharge for their next adventure. Although specifics on the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed, the promise of enhanced facilities is enticing.

In addition to these real-world perks, Premier Access ticket holders gain fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store. This benefit is particularly valuable as it allows players to bypass long queues, saving precious time that can be better spent exploring the event and catching Pokémon.

The real draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive collection of in-game items it provides. With 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and a host of other valuable resources, the package could save players up to $300 in potential in-game purchases. Here's a comprehensive list of what you get:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge, adding a collectible touch to the package.

Reactions to the $100 ticket offer have been mixed within the Pokémon Go community. Some players view the price as exorbitant, especially given the increasing number of monetization options in the game. Others see it as a valuable investment, particularly for those with disposable income who have already committed to attending Go Fest and want to maximize their experience.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations. Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's events will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the wider release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
