Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Serene Retreat with Ancient Giants

Pokémon GO is gearing up for its highly anticipated Global GO Fest 2025 with an exciting lineup of events, features, and Pokémon encounters. The journey begins with three brand-new themed events, the return of legendary giants, and the debut of several Gigantamax forms—making this one of the most action-packed seasons yet.

What Are the Events in Pokémon GO Global GO Fest 2025?

Serene Retreat

The first event on the list is Serene Retreat, running from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. During this time, players can expect to encounter a variety of calming and cute-themed Pokémon including Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. There's also a chance to find shiny versions of Snorlax and Chimecho.

Adding even more excitement, Gigantamax Rillaboom will appear in six-star Max Raids from May 31st to June 1st, 2025—marking its very first appearance in Pokémon GO!

Global GO Fest 2025

The main celebration, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, takes place on June 28th and 29th. This worldwide event welcomes millions of trainers to participate remotely, free of charge. Whether you're a casual player or a seasoned battler, it’s a perfect opportunity to connect and celebrate the global Pokémon community.

Trainers who purchase a ticket gain access to exclusive content, including a special encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion—finally available globally after previously appearing in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.

Ancients Recovered

Prior to the big festival, another major event—Ancients Recovered—runs from June 23rd to June 27th, 2025. This event brings back the Legendary Titans and their elemental counterparts in five-star raids, each day featuring a different boss:

• June 23rd: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel
• June 24th: Regieleki
• June 25th: Regidrago
• June 26th: Regigigas
• June 27th: All Titans return in a grand finale

Each Legendary Pokémon encountered during this event will know exclusive moves:

• Regirock: Earthquake
• Regice: Thunder
• Registeel: Zap Cannon
• Regieleki: Thunder Cage
• Regidrago: Dragon Breath & Dragon Energy
• Regigigas: Crush Grip

In addition, six-star Max Battles will feature both Gigantamax Rillaboom and newcomers Gigantamax Cinderace and Gigantamax Inteleon.
