Path of Exile 2 offers two primary methods for trading items: direct in-game exchanges and the official trade website. This guide explains both.
In-Game Trading
For players in the same game instance, right-clicking their character and selecting "Trade" initiates a direct exchange. Both players select their desired items, and upon confirmation, the trade is complete.
Alternatively, you can arrange trades via global chat or direct messages. Right-click a player's name in chat, invite them to your party, teleport to their location, and then right-click to initiate the trade.
The Path of Exile 2 Trade Market
The game features a trading website, accessible via [link to official trade site]. A PoE account linked to your platform is required.
Buying: Use the website's filters to locate desired items. Clicking "Direct Whisper" sends an in-game message to the seller to arrange a meetup and complete the transaction.
Selling: A Premium Stash Tab (purchased from the in-game shop) is necessary. Place the item in the Premium Stash and set it to "Public." Right-clicking allows price setting, automatically listing the item on the trade website. Buyers will then contact you in-game.
