Reedus keen on starring in 'Death Stranding 2' film

Death Stranding enthusiasts have an exciting revelation ahead. The highly anticipated sequel, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is slated for release in June, with franchise star Norman Reedus recently sharing insights about the game – along with noteworthy details about the upcoming film adaptation – in an exclusive IGN interview.

"Absolutely, if given the opportunity," Reedus affirmed when questioned about potentially portraying his character in the forthcoming cinematic adaptation, announced last month through a collaboration between Michael Sarnoski and A24. "The project is in its very early stages right now, but I'd definitely be open to it."

When discussing his initial confusion with the first game's narrative, Reedus expressed complete confidence in visionary director Hideo Kojima's creative direction. "Understanding Kojima's thought process might be impossible – he's truly one-of-a-kind," the acclaimed actor remarked. "But this time, the storyline feels more focused, with intensified action sequences and clearer objectives."

Regardless of the surreal elements in the Death Stranding universe, Reedus remains enthusiastic about the journey. "Working on these projects is always an extraordinary experience – exhilarating yet unconventional," he told IGN.
