Nintendo has officially announced preorders for the Switch 2 will launch on April 9 in the U.S. and April 8 in the UK. The highly anticipated console, priced at $449.99, will release globally on June 5, 2025.
A Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will retail at $499.99, including the system and a digital download code for Mario Kart World. Sold separately, the racing title carries a $79.99 price tag.

Through Nintendo's official store, fans can currently register interest to receive preorder notifications. Priority invites will be emailed to Nintendo Switch Online members with 12-month subscriptions and 50+ gameplay hours recorded by April 2, 2025.
