Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Drops April 3 with New Features, Update 2 Slated for Summer 2025

Capcom has revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds’ first major update arrives April 3 Pacific Time and April 4 UK time.

In a showcase video, Capcom detailed the release date and content for Monster Hunter Wilds’ initial post-launch update.

The highlight is the Grand Hub, a new social space for player interaction. Enjoy Barrel Bowling and nightly Diva performances.

Mizutsune, a bubble-wielding leviathan, joins with Title Update 1, alongside a Zoh Shia quest. An Arch-tempered Rey Dau event quest follows later.

Arena Quests debut with Update 1, challenging players to compete for fastest times. Free content, including classic series gestures, arrives for all players. Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 launches concurrently.

In late May, a crossover with an unannounced Capcom title hits Monster Hunter Wilds. A second update, planned for summer, teases a new monster’s arrival.

PC players anticipated performance fixes for Monster Hunter Wilds, following launch issues, but the showcase offered no updates on this.
