Mecha BREAK, the thrilling multiplayer mech game, recently wrapped up its open beta phase on Steam, which ended on March 16. The open beta was a resounding success, attracting over 300,000 players at its peak and securing its position as the 5th most wishlisted game on the platform. Following this impressive engagement, the developers at Amazing Seasun are now actively considering major changes in response to valuable player feedback.
One of the key areas under consideration is the availability of Break Strikers, the game's mechs. Currently, players start with access to just one Break Striker, with the option to unlock the remaining 11 by grinding through multiplayer matches to earn in-game currency. This process can be quite time-consuming, requiring players to engage in numerous matches before they can experience the full range of mechs.
In response to player feedback, Amazing Seasun is contemplating making all starting mechs freely available right from the beginning. This move could significantly enhance the player experience by allowing immediate access to all 12 Break Strikers, thus reducing the grind and increasing the variety of gameplay right from the start.
Additionally, the developers are looking into adjustments concerning the use of mech modules in both 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. However, they have not made any final commitments yet, emphasizing their belief in the live service model as crucial for the game's launch and future development.
