Squanch Games has officially unveiled High on Life 2 during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, with a winter release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S - including day-one availability on Game Pass.
The sequel continues the developer's signature crude humor and colorful first-person shooter gameplay that defined the original. While the 2022 debut received mixed reviews and faced controversy due to Justin Roiland's involvement, it became a Game Pass success and reportedly inspired an upcoming animated series adaptation.
High on Life 2 resumes the story following the takedown of the space cartel, but players won't enjoy peace for long. "When a shadowy figure from your past places a bounty on your sister, your comfortable existence descends into mayhem," reads the official description. "Can you unravel an interstellar conspiracy that once again endangers humanity - your favorite species?"
The announcement teases an all-star comedic voice cast, though specific performers remain under wraps. For additional reveals from the showcase, explore our complete breakdown of Xbox Games Showcase June 2025 announcements.
