Stepping away from the flurry of Gamescom Opening Night Live announcements, we have something more relaxed and adorable. Hello Kitty Island Adventure welcomes players back to school with the new Scholastic Celebration event.

As the name suggests, the Scholastic Celebration (beginning August 24th) coincides with the back-to-school season. While students head to class, the Sanrio characters are enjoying various sports and activities, dressed in stylish academic-themed outfits.

For those seeking broader fun, the Jam Jamboree arrives on September 12th. This event features a baker's dozen of minigames, sweet surprises, berry-themed rewards, and new costumes for your favorite characters.

Apple Arcade players get more than just events; a major content update is also on the way. Version 2.8, Sea of Wonder, launches on September 12th, bringing high-seas adventures to cap off the summer.

Embark on fishing quests with Badtz-maru, try new lures, and compete in the Fishing Derby for seasonal prizes. Meet the new Rodent species—mice, chipmunks, and hamsters—and welcome the OTM Girls as seasonal visitors to Friendship Island.
