Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy's Misty Island: A Comprehensive Guide to Power Cells and Scout Flies

Misty Island, a location central to the plot of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, initially presents a challenge to reach. However, for those brave enough to overcome its obstacles, it holds a wealth of secrets and rewards.

Accessing Misty Island:

Before venturing to Misty Island, you must assist the fisherman in the Forbidden Jungle's river by helping him catch 200 pounds of fish. This earns you a Power Cell and access to the Speedboat in Sandover Village, your vessel to Misty Island.

Power Cell Locations and Challenges:

1. The Sculptor's Muse: Your first task is to retrieve the Sculptor's Lost Muse, a golden creature near the docks. Chase it, utilizing roll jumps and strategically breaking bones to create pathways. Once captured, return the Muse to Sandover Village for a Power Cell (save this for later).

2. Blue Eco Power Cell: After retrieving the Muse, locate a platforming area with blue eco orbs. Charge with Blue Eco and activate the Precursor Platform to cross a gap and obtain a Power Cell.

3. Dark Eco Pool Power Cell: Prepare for an arena battle against Lurkers. Use the Red Eco they drop to your advantage and avoid falling explosives. Victory reveals a staircase leading to the Dark Eco Pool and its Power Cell.

4. Lurker Ship Power Cell: Locate the Lurker Ship in Misty Island's Bay. Climb aboard and ascend to the ship's top to claim another Power Cell.

5. Cannon Power Cell: Navigate a ramp, dodging rolling and bouncing logs. Defeat the Lurkers guarding the cannon at the top for a Power Cell. Use the cannon to destroy metal boxes in the arena for additional Precursor Orbs.

6. Balloon Lurker Power Cell: Use the Zoomer to destroy five Balloon Lurkers patrolling the bay. Careful maneuvering between mines is crucial.

7. Zoomer Power Cell: Utilize the Zoomer to ascend a ramp, navigate around a rock, and launch yourself to reach a floating Power Cell and Precursor Orbs.

Scout Fly Locations:

Seven Scout Flies are hidden throughout Misty Island:

1. Muse's Path: During the Muse chase, use a seesaw and ground pound to reach a clifftop containing a Scout Fly Box.

2. Precursor Door Area: Two Scout Fly Boxes are located near the Precursor Door (where you gathered Blue Eco). One requires traversing a crumbling path, the other is accessible through a gap.

3. Arena Exit: After exiting the arena, utilize a seesaw to reach a cliff overlooking the bay, where a Scout Fly Box awaits.

4. Lurker Ship: One Scout Fly Box is on the Lurker Ship, another is on a platform along the log-filled ramp.

5. Zoomer Ramp: The final Scout Fly Box is near the top of the ramp used to reach the final Zoomer Power Cell.

After collecting all Power Cells and Scout Flies, remember to return the Sculptor's Muse to complete your Misty Island adventure.
