Amphoreus's design draws inspiration from ancient Greece, aligning with MiHoYo's established practice of incorporating real-world cultures into their fantasy settings. Theories suggest "ampheoreus," an ancient Greek unit of measurement, influenced the location's name.

Castorice's enigmatic nature continues MiHoYo's trend of introducing mysterious female characters before their official reveals. Her appearance certainly hints at a more intriguing backstory compared to previous introductions.
