Honkai: Star Rail wraps up the Penacony storyline in the new version 2.7 update

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7, "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has launched, concluding the Penacony chapter and introducing exciting new content before the journey to Amphoreus begins. This update features two new 5-star characters and a host of events.

Meet Sunday, a 5-star Imaginary character whose supportive abilities boost ally damage and summon effectiveness, further enhanced by his ultimate's regenerative and damage-amplifying effects. Also debuting is Fugue, a 5-star Fire character—a reimagined Tingyun—skilled at shattering enemy defenses and increasing squadmates' Break Effect damage.

Returning characters Jing Yuan and Firefly are featured in the limited Warp event. Version 2.7 also adds new in-game features, including a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters via the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates, starting with Version 3.0, promise further enhancements. These include Relic system refinements for better stat control, the continuation of the Path of Remembrance storyline, new memosprites, and a free 5-star character via the Gift of the Express event (available until Version 3.2).
