Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty chill to the battlefield! This major update introduces Koda, a new character with unique arctic abilities, and exciting new gameplay mechanics.

Koda, armed with a mystical fox mask, boasts Aurora Vision, a skill that enhances enemy detection and mobility. This allows players to spot hidden enemies and gain a tactical advantage during parachute drops.

The centerpiece of the update is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails that enable rapid movement while shooting, turning, or using throwables. These tracks, appearing in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, also feature Coin Machines dispensing 100 FF coins.

Winterlands 2024 also introduces Aurora Events in both game modes. In Battle Royale, find aurora-affected Coin Machines; in Clash Squad, locate aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these items grants team buffs.
