Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite collaboration thrilled fans, but the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate. Speculation ran rampant, with theories focusing on CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The truth, however, is far simpler.

According to Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077 loremaster and the decision-maker, the bundle was limited to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already a male character, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

The omission of male V was thus a pragmatic decision, not a deliberate exclusion. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite appearance, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
