Formovie Episode One Hardware Reviewed: Projection Paradise?

At Droid Gamers, we're always excited to explore innovative tech, and recently, we received a unique piece of equipment: the Formovie Episode One projector. Designed to bring mobile gaming to a larger screen, this projector caught our attention for its promise of quality on a budget.

The Episode One aims to deliver a high-quality projection experience at a more affordable price point, and we believe it achieves this goal admirably, despite a few minor drawbacks. When you unbox the projector, you'll find the unit itself, a remote (without batteries), a power cable, and a manual. While it may not feel as robust as more premium models, its lighter weight of just three pounds enhances its portability, making it an excellent choice for those on the go.

For connectivity, the projector offers a single USB-A port, one HDMI port, and an audio jack. While this might be limiting for some, it should suffice for most users, especially considering the cost. Performance-wise, the Episode One boasts 150 ISO lumens. It may not be the brightest on the market, and it did struggle in direct sunlight during our tests.
