Guide to Mastering Item Extraction in R.E.P.O.

R.E.P.O. is a cooperative horror game where players must retrieve valuable items and survive relentless monster attacks. These creatures spawn unpredictably, making every mission a challenge. Successfully escape with your loot, and the AI Taxman rewards your efforts, allowing you to purchase essential survival gear with your earnings.

To secure your haul, locate the Extraction Point where your C.A.R.T. of valuables is evaluated. The Taxman then permits you to proceed to the Service Station, ideally with plenty of cash to spend on upgrades.

As you advance in R.E.P.O., extracting items becomes intuitive. What starts as a daunting task turns into a familiar routine as you conquer more levels and defeat tougher monsters.

How to Extract Items in R.E.P.O.

In your first R.E.P.O. mission, there’s only one Extraction Point. As you progress to new locations, this number can increase up to four. Track your progress with the red number in the top-right corner of the screen, which shows how many drop-offs remain and how many you’ve completed.

At the start of a level, the Extraction Point is near your R.E.P.O. truck, a fixed location you can always rely on for your first drop-off. After that, finding subsequent points becomes more challenging.

After delivering your first C.A.R.T., navigate the level as usual, but the Taxman’s demands and the next drop-off location remain unknown. Your in-game map, accessed by pressing “Tab,” is crucial. It highlights unexplored areas, helping you plan routes and, in co-op play, coordinate with teammates to cover more ground efficiently.

The next Extraction Point reveals itself only when you reach its area, either by sight or sound. Once located, press the red button to learn if you’ve collected enough items. If you meet the requirement, place your C.A.R.T. within the grey zone to avoid losing items.

After completing a drop-off, move to the next Extraction Point by repeating the process or head back to the truck if it’s the final one. Note that after the last point, you don’t need to bring the C.A.R.T. back—a new one spawns at the next level.
