Diablo Immortal's latest update, Patch 3.2: Shattered Sanctuary, concludes the game's initial chapter with a climactic battle against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. After a two-year quest to recover Worldstone shards, players finally confront Diablo, who has transformed Sanctuary into his infernal domain.
This update reunites players with familiar faces from the Diablo franchise, including the returning Tyrael, and introduces the legendary El'druin sword.
A New Zone: World's Crown
World's Crown, a vast and unsettling new zone, features gravity-defying upward-falling rain, blood-red lakes, and menacing structures, creating a dark and eerie atmosphere. It's the largest zone added to Diablo Immortal to date.
The Diablo Showdown
The centerpiece of Shattered Sanctuary is the multi-phase battle against a significantly enhanced Diablo. He utilizes classic attacks like Firestorm and Shadow Clones, but his power is amplified by the final Worldstone shard, making him a formidable opponent. A new ability, Breath of Fear, adds another layer of challenge, requiring precise timing and strategic positioning. Players will utilize El'druin to overcome Diablo's devastating attacks.
New Challenges and Rewards
The update also introduces new Helliquary Bosses, designed for cooperative gameplay, and Challenger Dungeons with randomized modifiers that demand adaptability. New bounties offer challenging encounters and superior loot compared to other areas.
