Instead, Conan the Barbarian is set to arrive next week for players who own the premium edition. Today, the development team unveiled a captivating gameplay trailer showcasing this legendary character.

Conan embodies the quintessential brute archetype—powerful, imposing, and formidable. His robust attacks likely pack a punch, though his lack of agility and speed may leave room for strategy when it comes to positioning and evasion. Perhaps his extended sword reach will serve as a strategic advantage, balancing out his slower movements.

Despite his resemblance to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Conan’s fatality lacks the flair of some of Mortal Kombat’s more memorable finishing moves. Submerging opponents in a pool of acid feels somewhat underwhelming compared to other characters' cinematic deaths. That said, Mortal Kombat 1 isn’t solely about the finishing moves; Conan’s potential lies in offering engaging gameplay experiences.
