Valve made a Smissmas miracle and dropped the last part of Team Fortress 2 comic

A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.

Entitled "The Days Have Worn Away," this is the seventh numbered issue and the 29th overall release, including special event comics. The release marks a significant seven-year gap since the last TF2 comic in 2017.

Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy wait, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that while the tower's builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players only endured a "mere" seven-year wait.

The new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the storyline, and there are strong indications that it will be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, referencing "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," hints at this. While the wait was considerable, players now have a satisfying ending and a festive treat.
