All Side Story Locations in Split Fiction

While *Split Fiction*'s co-op adventure unfolds linearly, numerous optional Side Stories offer some of the game's most memorable moments. Though not essential to the main plot, these detours are highly recommended.

How To Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

Chapters 2 through 5 each contain three Side Stories (12 total). Completing all twelve unlocks an achievement. Here's how to locate each one:

Chapter 2

• Legend of the Sandfish: This Side Story appears naturally after completing the "Rush Hour" section; it's impossible to miss.
• Farmlife: Found in the "Streets of Neon" section, after crossing a small barrier, before reaching the elevators on the left.
• Mountain Hike: Located in the "Big City Life" section. Reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to throw her to the opposite ledge with a ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder to access the Side Story.

Chapter 3

• Train Heist: Found in the "Lord Evergreen" section. While navigating the water on a plank, wall-run to reach a ledge containing the Side Story.
• Gameshow: Located in the "Walking Sticks of Doom" section, on a platform after a side-scrolling sequence. Some minor platforming is required.
• Collapsing Star: This Side Story is on the main path in the "Halls of Ice" section and is difficult to miss.

Chapter 4

• Kites: Found at the end of the long tube in the "Toxic Tumblers" section.
• Moon Market: In the "Test Chamber" section, after the crane sequence, it's on a ledge to the left, accessible with some platforming.
• Notebook: The final Chapter 4 Side Story is in "Soaring Desperados." After obtaining the jetpack, avoid the giant wheel and hover to the left side of the room.

Chapter 5

• Slopes of War: Located in the "Water Temple" section. After hatching dragons, solve the lever puzzle to the left of the golden balls.
• Space Escape: Found in the "Craft Temple" section. After defeating the dragon, use Mio's glide and Zoe's roll to reach a ledge, then have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb.
• Birthday Cake: This final Side Story is in the "Treasure Temple" section. It appears to the left after completing the soul puzzle.

Completing all 12 Side Stories unlocks the "Bookworms" achievement in Split Fiction.
