"Square Enix Hints at Visual Upgrades for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PS5"

While the development team is heavily focused on the upcoming sequel, Hamaguchi has asked fans for patience, promising more details in the near future. He highlighted that 2024 was a successful year for Final Fantasy Rebirth, the second installment in the trilogy, which garnered global attention and multiple awards.

Looking ahead, the third installment of Final Fantasy VII poses unique challenges as the developers strive to expand the game's fan base. Additionally, Hamaguchi expressed his admiration for another major title, Grand Theft Auto VI, which caught his attention this year. He voiced his support for the Rockstar Games team, acknowledging the immense pressure they face following the phenomenal success of GTA V.
