PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup: 12 Teams Remain!
The first stage of the PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup (EWC), part of the larger Gamers8 event in Saudi Arabia, has concluded. The initial field of 24 teams has been cut in half, leaving 12 contenders vying for a share of the $3 million prize pool.
For those unfamiliar with the EWC, it's a significant esports tournament showcasing top games, and PUBG Mobile is a key participant. Currently, Alliance leads the pack.
Following a week's break, the final stage will take place from July 27th to 28th. Before then, however, the 12 eliminated teams will compete in the Survival Stage on July 23rd and 24th for a chance to rejoin the main event. This promises to be an intense competition.
While the EWC is generating considerable buzz, it's important to note that it's not the largest event on the PUBG Mobile esports calendar. Other major events are scheduled for later this year, potentially overshadowing this tournament's long-term impact. Nevertheless, the EWC is a significant event for PUBG Mobile fans.
