Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event will take place simultaneously in Los Angeles (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) showcasing diverse Unova Pokémon. Shiny Deerling variations will appear based on habitat and time of day.

Ticket holders can participate in Masterwork Research to encounter Shiny Meloetta, hatch Shiny Sigilyph and Bouffalant, and potentially find Shiny Pikachu with unique hats via Field Research. Five-Star Raids will feature Reshiram and Zekrom, Three-Star Raids will feature Druddigon, and One-Star Raids will offer Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (with increased shiny rates).

Tickets are available now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei City). Add-on ticket options provide extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively). On-site booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas.

A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will run March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This city-wide event will be held in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time). Trainers will join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery.

Participants receive an explorer hat-wearing Eevee, which can evolve into Sylveon or Jolteon (retaining the hat). The Eevee Explorers Expedition earns a second hat-wearing Eevee. Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and other special Pokémon will appear in the wild, while Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, and Skiddo will hatch from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon encounters will also occur.

Maps will be provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors will be distributed (while supplies last). Tickets are priced at R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong, with add-on options available.
