Scopely is bringing Monopoly Go to London's streets with a two-day celebration called Dough Fest. For the first time, the game is stepping out of the virtual world with a real-life event. The festival will feature food, stickers, and trading activities that players have so far only experienced in-game.
The event will take place on September 27th and 28th at East London's Truman Brewery. Admission is free, but advance tickets are required. Inside, attendees can enjoy Monopoly Go-themed activities, exclusive treats, and culinary surprises.
Dough Fest coincides with Monopoly Go's first global Trade Fest, running from September 27th at 8 AM UTC to September 29th at 8 AM UTC. During this 48-hour period, the daily trading limit doubles from 5 to 10 stickers, allowing up to 20 trades over the weekend.
The festival draws inspiration from the game's current Bon Appétit Album Season, which introduces new features, tempting rewards, and community events centered around world cuisine and homemade dishes. This season includes a Candy Land-themed Treasures event and Community Golden Blitzes.
Monopoly Go Dough Fest amplifies this theme by collaborating with top London eateries. Napoli on the Road, led by 2023 World’s Best Pizza Chef Michele Pascarella, will unveil new pizzas created exclusively for the event. Ice cream will be provided by Soft Serve Society.
Bread Ahead has joined forces with food critic and broadcaster Grace Dent to craft the Double Down Doughnut. This unique treat combines double chocolate, mango lassi, and chili jam, and can only be sampled by rolling double sixes on a life-sized community chest.
Beyond food, visitors can unlock in-game bonuses like sticker packs and free dice rolls. The first 300 attendees each day will receive a physical Bon Appétit taster album to fill with collectible stickers, tradable at dedicated zones throughout the festival.
If you're in London, this is a must-visit event. Otherwise, you can still join the fun by downloading Monopoly Go from the Google Play Store and participating in the Trade Fest.
