A prominent leaker, RivalsLeaks, has suggested that a PvE mode might be in development for the popular hero shooter, Marvel Rivals. NetEase Games has been actively expanding the game's offerings since its launch, with the current season, Season 0, nearing its end alongside the Winter Celebration event.
Details about Season 1 have been recently unveiled through a trailer, showcasing new content. Dracula will serve as the main villain, and players can look forward to The Fantastic Four joining the game's roster. The trailer also hints at a new map, a dark version of New York City. Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls is set to launch on January 10 at 1 AM PST.
RivalsLeaks shared on Twitter that a PvE mode might be in the works, having spoken with a source who reportedly played this mode. Another leaker, RivalsInfo, found a tag in the game files suggesting the mode's existence. However, RivalsLeaks noted that the project could have been scrapped or delayed. Additionally, there are rumors about NetEase Games developing a Capture the Flag mode, indicating an ambitious expansion for the game.
In another post, RivalsLeaks claimed that the villain Ultron has been delayed to Season 2. Although Ultron's full ability kit, which includes healing or harming characters with drones as a Strategist, was recently leaked, it appears his release is postponed. With four new characters set to be introduced in Season 1, Ultron's debut is now expected in Season 2 or later.
While some fans are disappointed about Ultron's delay, others are excited about the potential release of Blade. Given Dracula's role as the main villain in Season 1 and leaks about Blade's abilities, many believe he could be introduced shortly after The Fantastic Four. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to dive into Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, with its new content and upcoming reveals.
