Konosuba: Fantastic Days is Shutting Down with a Potential Offline Version

The popular mobile RPG, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, will be ending its service on January 30th, 2025. After nearly five years, both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. However, developers are planning a limited offline version to preserve the main storyline, key quests, and events for players to enjoy after the servers close. Details on this offline version are still scarce.

In-App Purchases and Refunds:

All in-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. However, existing Quartz and other in-game items remain usable until the service ends on January 30th, 2025. Players who are eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 can submit refund requests until the service termination date. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025.

A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days:

Initially released in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game adaptation of the popular KonoSuba anime. The game featured a charming narrative, appealing visuals, and a visual novel-style story mode. Despite its positive aspects, the game ultimately succumbed to the pressures faced by many gacha RPGs, including declining player interest and high production costs.

If you haven't yet experienced KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, you still have a few months to play before the servers shut down. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
