Monster Hunter Now Season 4: A Snowy Tundra Adventure Awaits!
Niantic's Monster Hunter Now has unleashed its chilling Season 4, transforming the game into a winter wonderland. Prepare for icy winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of new monsters to hunt, even if your fingers are virtually frozen!
What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?
This season introduces a brand-new snowy tundra environment. Face off against a roster of formidable creatures, including the debuting Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also make an appearance. Tigrex will be a major challenge in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you during regular hunts. Unlock these monsters by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Finish the prologue to gain access to the tundra.
A powerful new weapon joins the fight: the Switch Axe! This versatile weapon seamlessly transitions between Axe Mode for powerful, sweeping attacks and Sword Mode for ferocious close-quarters combat. Unlock its unique Switch Gauge by completing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.
Season 4 also introduces Palico companions! Customize your furry friend's fur color, facial features, and name. Take advantage of AR features to bring your personalized Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.
Team up with friends using the new Friend Cheering feature! Send cheers to your buddies for a temporary health boost—a helpful advantage during challenging hunts. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health you can gain from cheers.
