Different methods will affect structures differently; while explosives cause significant damage, bullets can also chip away at walls, allowing players to shoot through them. Audio and visual effects will signal to players that their efforts are paying off.

For instance, rubble from a destroyed building will remain on the field, potentially serving as cover for players.
