Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio is Ubisoft Japan’s Most Popular Character

Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has emerged victorious in Ubisoft Japan's Character Awards, a celebratory event marking the company's three decades of success. The online poll, running from November 1st, 2024, allowed fans to vote for their top three favorite Ubisoft characters.

The results, unveiled on Ubisoft Japan's official website and X (formerly Twitter), reveal Ezio as the undisputed champion. To celebrate, a special webpage featuring Ezio in a unique art style has been launched, alongside four free downloadable wallpapers for PCs and smartphones. Furthermore, a lottery will award 30 lucky fans with an Ezio acrylic stand set, and 10 others will receive an exclusive 180cm Ezio body pillow.

The top ten characters are:

  1. Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Liberation)
  2. Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
  3. Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
  4. Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)
  5. Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin's Creed)
  6. Wrench (Watch Dogs)
  7. Pagan Min (Far Cry)
  8. Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)
  9. Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
  10. Aaron Keener (The Division 2)

In a parallel poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise also secured the top spot, outperforming Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry series followed in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
