Each time Naoe or Yasuke interacts with a new breed of cat or dog, you'll unlock that specific animal for your Hideout. The game offers a variety of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens to join your League, including the stray from the pre-order DLC quest "Thrown to the Dogs."

Yasuke can also unlock smaller animals by painting them. Keep an eye out for rabbits, fox kits, tanukis, and monkeys in the wild. Once you document these creatures, you have the option to add them to your Hideout as well.
