Dive into the details of this exciting announcement from the studio.
Radical Fish Games, the creative minds behind the beloved action RPG CrossCode, have officially introduced their next venture: Alabaster Dawn. Previously teased as "Project Terra," the game was recently detailed in a post on the developer's website. Alabaster Dawn is set to launch on Steam Early Access towards the end of 2025, though an exact date remains under wraps. Fans can now add the game to their Steam wishlist.
The studio has also announced plans to release a public demo for Alabaster Dawn in the future, coinciding with its Early Access launch in late 2025.
For those planning to attend Gamescom this year, Radical Fish Games will be showcasing Alabaster Dawn. Attendees will have the chance for a hands-on experience, though spots are limited. The team will also be available at their booth for discussions from Wednesday to Friday, offering a great opportunity to learn more about the game.
Set in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, Alabaster Dawn follows the journey of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, as he works to revive humanity and break the curse cast by the goddess Nyx. The game promises an immersive experience with approximately 30-60 hours of gameplay spread across seven distinct regions. Players will engage in rebuilding efforts, establishing trade routes, and more, all while diving into dynamic combat inspired by iconic titles like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and CrossCode itself. With eight unique weapons, each featuring its own skill tree, along with parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking, Alabaster Dawn offers a rich and varied gameplay experience.
The developers have reached a significant milestone, with the first 1-2 hours of gameplay now nearly fully playable. "It may not sound like much, but getting to that point is a big milestone for us," the team proudly shared with fans.
