Tarneeb is a card game played by two teams, each consisting of two players sitting opposite each other. Using a standard 52-card deck, play proceeds counter-clockwise. The goal is for each player to estimate the number of "Allmat" (tricks) their team can win in each round.

The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" throws a type of paper onto the floor; other players must then throw the same type of paper. The first player to successfully match the type of paper wins the "Bamh." If a player doesn't have a matching paper, they forfeit and the "Tarneeb" option goes to the next player. "Tarneeb" papers are considered the most powerful; the player who throws the strongest "Tarneeb" paper wins unless a stronger one is played.

A round ends when all players have played their cards. Point scoring depends on whether the bidding team achieved their target number of "Allmat." If they succeed, they add their total "Allmat" to their score; the other team gets nothing. If they fail, their points are deducted and the opposing team adds their "Allmat" to their score.

If either team wins 13 tricks without bidding for 13, they gain 16 points. If a team bids for and wins 13 tricks, they gain 26 points. Conversely, if a team bids for 13 tricks and fails, they lose 16 points.

The game concludes when one team reaches a total score of 41 or more points, declaring them the winner.
