Wuthering Waves Unveils Phoebe and Brant as Next 5-Star Rinascita Characters

Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves will introduce two new 5-star Rinascita characters: Phoebe and Brant. While their weapon types and elements remain unconfirmed, lore suggests Phoebe will be a Spectro unit and Brant a sword wielder. This follows the recent 2.0 update which featured Carlotta and Roccia.

Following the successful launch of Version 2.0, which included a new story chapter, expanded explorable areas, and the introduction of the 5-star Glacio pistol-wielding Carlotta, developer Kuro Games has confirmed the next additions to the Rinascita roster via official Twitter announcements. Carlotta's banner, alongside Zhezhi's, runs until January 23rd, followed by Roccia's Havoc unit banner.

The reveal of Phoebe and Brant generates considerable excitement, with Phoebe potentially debuting in Phase 1 and Brant in Phase 2 of Version 2.1. Their in-game appearances and story roles hint at their respective unit types. Phoebe, an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep, is described as devout yet joyful, while Brant, captain of the Fool's Troupe (Roccia's troupe), maintains a carefree exterior while prioritizing the troupe's safety. Both are expected to play crucial roles in future updates. The only remaining unintroduced Rinascita character is Zani, previously teased in promotional materials.

Further additions to the Wuthering Waves 2.0 cycle are rumored, but official confirmation is pending. Version 2.0 is slated to conclude around mid-February, also bringing a premium skin for Jinhsi and a free Sanhua skin obtainable via an event starting January 23rd. The addition of Phoebe and Brant promises even more engaging content for players.
