Wild Rift Patch 6.1 Goes Cosmic in Mid-April

LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is set to launch on April 16th, promising a cosmic transformation that extends from the menus to the battlefield. Players will embark on a journey through the Dual Nova galaxy, exploring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.

This update introduces three new champions to the roster, each bringing unique abilities that can shift the tide of battle. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes massive area of effect damage and can strategically reposition his team with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, excels in chaos, using Paranoia to envelop foes in darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing opponents and reviving allies with Chronoshift.

Several champions are also receiving significant reworks. Garen's Courage now scales over time, enhancing his durability, while his Judgment ability will now shred enemy armor. Ambessa transitions from the jungle to the Baron lane, with modifications to her damage and life steal. Minor adjustments are planned for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista, ensuring a balanced gameplay experience.

Beyond champion updates, the patch introduces a new Bandle-inspired Rift for non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that emerge through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with new item updates. The Bandle Fantasy item boosts burst damage, Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance amplifies ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.

Ranked mode is also evolving with the launch of the Challenger’s Star. A new season begins, bringing enhancements to the Ranked store and simplifying the process to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, introducing AAAARAM, a revitalized ARAM mode with galactic visuals and added augments.

The Wild Pass introduces two striking skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate's new skin introduces an entirely new skinline, adding flair to your collection.
