World of Warships Legends celebrates the Lunar New Year with new Legend of Wukong event

The excitement of Lunar New Year continues to spread across mobile games, and World of Warships Legends is joining the festivities with a vibrant Wukong-themed event. As we saw with Sky: Children of the Light's celebration, January is becoming a lot more colorful, and this is certainly true for the typically serious world of naval combat in World of Warships Legends.

Sun Wukong, the legendary monkey king from the classic novel Journey to the West, takes center stage in this event. It's no surprise that such an iconic figure from Asian literature is the highlight of World of Warships Legends' Lunar New Year festivities.

Alongside the usual updates, which include a campaign for the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, the event introduces Sun Wukong as a commander guise available for all nations. He'll make his grand entrance alongside the Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser Wukong, accompanied by a variety of skins inspired by characters from the novels.

**Prosperity comes knocking**But that's not all! World of Warships Legends is also bringing back previous Lunar New Year content. Look forward to the return of the Celestial Guardian commander guise, which comes with a daily bonus, and a range of Pan-Asian and Japanese ships adorned in ornate skins. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates, available in the store and in-game, to secure these rewards, including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
