War Thunder to Release Firebirds Update with New Aircraft Soon

Gaijin Entertainment has just announced some thrilling news for War Thunder enthusiasts. The eagerly awaited Firebirds update, brimming with new aircraft, is set to take off in early November. This feature-packed update is set to bring some of the most renowned names in military aviation into the fray.

Which Are the New Aircraft in War Thunder?

Get ready to command the skies with an array of new aircraft. The update introduces the iconic American F-117 stealth attack aircraft, Russia's formidable Su-34 fighter bomber, and the powerful F-15E Strike Eagle, among others. In addition to these aerial marvels, the update also includes new ground vehicles and warships, such as the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the imposing French battleship Dunkerque.

Let's delve into the specifics of these aircraft. The F-117A Nighthawk marks a historic addition as the first aircraft in War Thunder to feature stealth technology. Its design, with hard edges and sharp angles, is engineered to deflect radar waves, enhancing its ability to remain undetected. The use of radar-absorbing materials, ferromagnetic paint, and intricately shielded engines further cloaks it from enemy detection. In real-world scenarios, such as Operation Desert Storm, the F-117 proved its stealth prowess, completing over 1,200 combat sorties without a single loss.

On the other hand, the F-15E Strike Eagle is all about sheer firepower. An evolution of the classic F-15, it's designed for significant ground strikes with a payload capacity increased by 50%. Equipped with advanced ground target detection radar, it's capable of deploying a variety of munitions, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAM navigation-guided bombs, and up to 20 GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs per sortie. Its versatility and power make it a cornerstone of the U.S. Air Force's strike capabilities.

There are quite a few new flying machines hitting the skies!

Beyond the new aircraft, the Firebirds update enhances the War Thunder experience with additional ground and naval assets. Players can look forward to maneuvering the nimble British FV107 Scimitar and commanding the formidable French Dunkerque battleship.

The new season, Aces High, is also underway, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles and earn a variety of rewards by completing the season and Battle Pass. From aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, to ground units such as the T54E2 and G6, and naval vessels like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish, the season is packed with exciting challenges and rewards.

Don't miss out on the action—download War Thunder Mobile from the Google Play Store and be ready to pilot these new aircraft as soon as they become available.
