Your journey begins in the heart of town, opposite the Gun Store and Hospital and in front of the Trading Hut. Start by offloading any unnecessary loot and gearing up. A Rifle, priced at just $75, is a solid choice for its ability to fend off enemies effectively, at least initially. Don't forget to stock up on coal to power your boat's old-school engine.

The next town lies 10,000 meters away. Simply ignite your boat and set sail. While en route, you can choose to engage and loot Zombies and Drowned, though the houses on the sides may not yield much. To keep moving, refuel with coal. Ignore the worm on the right side and hold onto your loot until you reach the second safe zone, where you can sell it. Beware of Big Foot and Zombie mobs along the riverbanks.

After the second safe zone, you'll encounter burning buildings teeming with enemies. Clear them out if you're with friends; otherwise, it's best to bypass them due to scattered spawn points. At around 12,000 meters, you'll find a castle-like house filled with Drowned but also valuable loot like Shotgun ammo. Use these resources wisely.

The gameplay loop is straightforward: kill, loot, repeat, and hope for enemy defeat. To excel, leverage your boat as your primary inventory, emptying your bag upon return to save time and space.

A useful strategy is stacking Zombies near the incinerator. While the urge to escape these towns is strong, efficient loot management can significantly enhance your progress. If you're running low on fuel, toss a few Zombies into the incinerator for a quick boost.

Be cautious when exploring Sheriff's offices, as they often harbor a high concentration of mobs but also offer substantial rewards in the form of weapons and ammo. I sustained my shotgun throughout several towns by having a friend clear the ground floor.

Conserve your ammo, weapons, fuel, and medkits for the fortress at around 25,000 meters. This area, still under construction, is prone to ambushes. It's best to approach with at least three others, ideally a full five-person team. Be efficient when collecting loot.

Avoid engaging Big Feet beyond 30,000 meters; they are formidable and consume a lot of ammo. Plan your stops carefully and remember that not all loot is worth the risk.
The town beyond 50,000 meters is an excellent farming spot, teeming with Drowned and Zombies. With friends armed with Shotguns or Sawnoffs, you can efficiently gather corpses for fuel.
In the final safe zone, sell off all your gear and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't underestimate the Zombies and Drowned; ensure you have at least 8-10 corpses for fuel during the last leg of your journey. At around 100,000 meters, you'll reach open waters and be ready to face the Kraken, signaled by darkening skies.

When the Kraken emerges, every player must target a tentacle. The boss has significant health, and each tentacle can attack if not properly repelled. With five players, form a pentagram-like formation and focus on your assigned tentacle.

Watch out for the water splash ability, an AoE attack signaled by the Kraken pulling back its tentacle, leaving a water trail. Use medkits liberally, as some damage is unavoidable.

Lastly, be mindful of the Roar AoE, which causes minor, unblockable damage and may slightly boost the boss's damage output. It's identifiable by white concentric circles emanating from the tentacle.
