The Horizons Celebration event is making a vibrant return to Pokémon Go, and it's set to dazzle with the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. This special event, running from April 16th to 22nd, promises a smashing good time with these unmistakably pink Pokémon.
Tinkaton, known for its playful yet powerful hammer-wielding antics, such as launching rocks at Corviknight, is now evolvable in the game. To reach the final evolution stage, you'll need to collect 125 Candy throughout the event week.
Adding to the excitement, Floragato will appear in a unique costumed version, wearing a hat adorned with Liko’s pin. You'll find this stylish Pokémon roaming the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. There's also a chance to encounter a Shiny version if luck is on your side. Other Pokémon like Pikachu donning Cap's hat and Charcadet might make an appearance as well.
A variety of Paldea favorites, including Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi, will be wandering the wild areas. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs hold the potential to hatch familiar faces such as Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Don't miss out on the snapshot surprises, where Horizons characters and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures.
For those keen on battling, Pikachu in Cap's hat comes equipped with the special move, Volt Tackle. The Raid scene will be bustling with the likes of Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and, of course, more Floragato. Bonus hunters will enjoy more frequent Team Go Rocket balloons, halved Egg hatch distances, increased Shiny chances, and higher Stardust payouts.
Engage in Field Research, and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, where you can earn extra rewards including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
